Bottle from the brewery, 1 year old
Dark brown colour. Aroma of dark bread. Not too weak, semi-dry, mild malt base, moderate bourbon character.
Nothing special, and not worth the $10+ price, but drinkable.

500ml @ Phill's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: some a bit harsh barrel, roasted malt, some chocolate as well. Taste: along the same lines, somewhat roasty, very light barrel. Overall: not bad.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Dark brown with small light beige head. Roast malt, touch of chocolate, barrel hints. Average.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of cheap JD bourbon and a touch of roast. Flavour is simple, with cheap JD bourbon, light toasted malt, and dry bready notes. Simple and lacking depth. Not convincing.

Dark brown, not much head. There's a bit of tartness, some chocolate notes, and a touch of residual sweetness. The barrel notes aren't bad, but the overall beer doesn't bring any stellar elements.

Can at Ryan's
Cloudy red colour. Smells like beer, with delicate orange touch. Good body, moderate acidity, some orange juice.
Simple but correctly constructed.

Deep orange with a small white head. Cooked orange and some grains. Cooked orange, some vegetal notes and some candied orange.

Reddish orange. Thin head. On the aroma, definitely blood orange, a bit of tartness. On the palate, a bit tart, and then it's got a lot of the blood orange character. As it warms, it seems like there's a touch of butter.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small light brown head. Aroma is full of wood—there's plenty of roasted malt, plenty of wood, and maybe a hint of rum. Flavour is loaded with rich roasted malt, lots of wood, but not all that much rum character. The barrels perhaps impart more wood character than actual rum. Full roasty flavour on the finish. Very good.
