Dullish hazy. Thin head. Has more bitterness than expected given the 20 IBUs - pithy grapefruit in particular, the hop aromatics giving off mostly orange and a bit of pineapple. Malt base isn't great but it's good enough.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear copper brown with light beige head. Lots of bready malt with hints of honey and caramel, feint toasted character in the background and feint hint of hopping on the finish. Quite nice.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear blonde gold with white head. Dank tropical hops with some gas fumes on the nose, lager base is simple with the hops being more subdued on the taste. Better aroma than taste, but decently made.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy yellow with white head. Oaty wheat body with mild tropical hops. It's quite oaty, needs more juiciness. Just okay.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 06 Feb 2025). Clear bright yellow gold with medium white head. Spruce tips galore, mild dankness, super clean neutral base pils malt that just showcases the spruce. I enjoy it, albeit it's a bit one note.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 06 Mar 2025). Clear yellow gold with full white head. Dank tangy hops with biscuit malt and mild pine hop finish. Not sure what I think of the whole Nelson-Columbus hop combo, but still quality work from Coast Mountain as of late.

473mL can, pours a lightly hazed bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of hop tang from the Nelson, some melony hops, and a touch of pine. Flavour is dank, tropical and tangy, bringing out the best of all worlds: tons of piney hops, big dankness, and just enough NZ hop tang. Thin biscuity malt to back. Finishes dank, tangy, piney, tropical and bright. This is fantastic.

473mL can, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some lacto, with gentle mango, a touch of passionfruit, and a touch of candied citrus. Flavour has thin citrus, light acidity, and some lacto. Pretty weak and citrusy. Not great.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Nose is dank as hell, with intense pot-like hops, bitter pine, and a very thin malt backbone. Flavour is no less dank, with intense pot-like hops, quite bitter pine cones, a touch of citrusy, atop a very thin biscuity malt base. Super dank, fairly bitter finish – wonderfully constructed dank WCIIPA. Probably the best thing Coast Mountain has done.

Opaque and very pale yellow. Thick head. Soft, but weak body. This beer sucked last year bit this year feels fruitier, more grapefruit bitterness, clean malts. Did a 180 with this batch.
