Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2023, pours a clear blonde, no head. Aroma brings out crisp apple skins and a hint of earthy bourbon that's pretty faint. Flavour is sort of bourbony in the sense of being hot, with fairly dry apple skins. Poor use of the barrels and a weak base cider equals a pretty lame end product.

500 ml bottle. Pours a garnet red. Aromas of black currents, salal, red grapes, and dull apples. Bigger flavors if same. Nice

On tap at The Cider House, pours a clear bright red with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright raspberries, moderate apples, and light sweetness. Flavour is bright and very fruity, with deep raspberries, some earthiness, and lots of apple core. Lots of earthy raspberries on the finish with fairly low residual sweetness. Decent.

Nice deep pink body, okay foam, soft smooth fruitiness on the nose of no distinction. Flavour is nice floral citrus, apple hints, round and perhaps that's the tayberry talking but I don't really know what a tayberry tastes like. Crisp finish. Decent enough.

Bottle found in Kelowna many weeks ago. Really nice pinkish copper body but no foam, heavy yeasty plums on the nose with hints of hay. Flavour is strong sweet plums, proper acidity, yeast and burlap. Full mouthfeel, smooth and very sweet. Very nice, like a yeasty fruit wine, very well executed.

listed as 8% abv, barcode 626990204589. Has a nice deep red colour but absolutely no foam which makes it look like juice. Smells strongly of blackberry with a sweet alcoholic tinge. Flavour is yeast, boozy blackberry, a hint of dark berry juice. Full mouthfeel but very little apple. Coming on rather strong and more of an apéritif than a cider.

Pours very faint light white with good foam, plenty of ginger and vanilla on the nose that's working pretty well. Flavour is a nice mix of ginger and apple, working better together than I expected. Full mouthfeel, vanilla aftertaste. Definitely decent.

Pours with modest foam on a deep gold body, heavy carbonation. Smells of twiggy apples, a bit candyish and alcoholic. Flavour is good tart crab apple, though the alcohol is heavy throughout. A bit of a blunt instrument ultimately.

Pours with excellent foam and a light gold body, heavy carbonation. Has a smell of dry earthy apples with hop hints. Flavour is deep apple with bitter plum and semi-piney hops. A little rough and not too sweet, oiliness on the palate along with good carbonation. I'd prefer a little more sweetness from a cider, the apple and plum don't stand out enough. Otherwise there are some good things going on here.

Pours with okay foam and a heavily carbonated light gold clear body, smells of sweet apple with chai notes - vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon. Flavour is a mellow chai hint on sweet apples. Mouthfeel is wet and the aftertaste is kind of tinny with a bit too much sugar. Some good elements here and some room for improvement.
