Description
At Ancestry Brewing, we are building a lineage of family crafted ales, one brew at a time. We pride ourselves on paying attention to detail and quality. The first Ancestry location was opened in 2016 in Tualatin, OR with a taproom and . For a small brewery, we have a beautiful selection of hops that include Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, EKG, Simcoe, and Amarillo to name a few. These fantastic hops will find their homes in our primary "3 Pillars" of beer - American, English, and Belgian. Each of these categories will be complimented by our cask and barrel program that we plan to grow over time.
You can find our beers on tap in one of our three locations, at many grocery stores, your favorite restaurant or taproom. We bottle our most popular flagship beers like Best Coast IPA and Irish Red and recently started canning Ancestry IPA in 12oz cans and a 16oz Hazy Rotator (Aussie Hazy IPA, Glori Haze IPA and Experimental IPA #6). We invite you to come see our brewery in Tualatin and get a pour straight from our Zwickels. We pride ourselves on connecting with our customers better than any brewery out there! We now have a Mug Club!!! Signing up get early access to news and beer releases. We are excited for you to join the family!

Draught. Pineapple and banana aroma. Malt with coconut taste with a pleasant citrusy finish. Still, something didn't quite gel.

Gold, fruity almost overripe nose. Almost a spicy hop character. Soft malts bit they're almost too weak. Ok, not sure what it's supposed to be, really.

Opaque and has a nice spicy weedy aroma. The malts are weak, flabby and don't support the hops.

Dark brown. Ok, has a molassesy taste, decent, but drinks lighter than its abv and without a whole lot of complexity.

Dark brown. Creamy body, that makes it kind of watery and empty. Some ok smoke notes but that's about it.

Draught @ Sellwood. Very pale. Bright. Thin head. Sort of yoghurty aroma. Similar taste, bland. Unexciting. I don't mind brewers trying things out, but when it really doesn't work, why sell it?

Oxford tasting
Murky blond color, dull. The aroma is very fruity, juicy, with a blend of tropical and citrus fruits, excellent. The body is a bit thinner than expected, lightly sweet, wheaty base, a bit flour-y, moderately fruity, oranges, light hop resins.
Good but a bit too dirty.

Definitely a red ale. Dark red body with medium head. Caramel in aroma. Caramel and toffee in flavour, maybe because this was cask conditioned. Clean finish
