Rather good American IPA with a citrusy aroma, a hoppy taste and a clean finish.

An at home dirty orange pour fizzy white head. Nose is piney and some orange peel. Tastes grainy, caramel, orange citrus, pine, dusty wood shop. Medium bitterness. Straightforward serviceable brew

Draft pour pint at Bellevue Brewing. A mostly clean golden orange pour, a lighter appearance overall. An orange soda reminding aroma here. Sharp hop bite, some acidic orange character. An orange soda feel to this IPA. Flavorful for an advertised light, session IPA. A refreshing IPA that will drink great in summer months. A bit too heavy in the fruit for my liking, but it is what they say it is.

Draft pour pint at Bellevue Brewing. Dark copper brown pour. Toasty aroma. Flavor is cool and clean. Soft chocolate. Nutty grains. Lingering sturdy grain profile. A bit dry. Dusty cocoa. A pretty easy drinking Schwarz. Pretty good for the style.

Draft pour pint at Bellevue Brewing. A thick, reddish orange pour. This was far from what I expected. Though I don't really know what I was expecting. A ton of ginger going on. Miscellaneous herbal notes throughout. Cool, malty aroma. Flavor is an earthy, ginger. Has a dirt to it. Maybe a little too herbal. Strange. Not quite sure if I'm on board with this.

Draft pour pint at Bellevue Brewing. So glad they still had this on tap! It was on my wish list, but also on my doubt I'll ever get it list. This... is a pepper beer. Big time! It's a special beer, unique within a unique style. I love the style, and actively seek it out. I even have a small street team that are always on the lookout for new ones for me. Even after I tell this info to the the barkeep, he still insisted that I give this a sip before commiting to a full pour. I worry that they have been forced to drain pour a lot of this delicious brew because people couldn't handle it. It was Habenero Sculpin for the longest time, then Campfire by Geaux, but this is now the spiciest beer I've ever had. A dark copper pour with a patchy, oily fizz head. Nose indicates garden and heat, but not nearly as much as it comes through in the flavor. It's a cool first sip from beer temperature, but then it feels like you just drank hot sauce in the pallet. An excellent pepper heat going on. Chipotle like, with a touch of smoke. Burns the lips a little bit, and warms you up quick when it goes down. I would love to know the pepper bill on this, as well as everything else about it. This is everything I love in the strange, but beautiful style. I have lots of questions to ask. First one. How can you still call this an IPA? HOT! God damn I love it.

Draught. Clear pour with thin head. Not much aroma. Sweetish flavor with a light hop edge. Quick finish.

Draft at the brewery. Murky reddish color. Strong ginger and some toffee / caramel. Drinks smooth. Good mouthfeel. Slightly sticky. Tasty, but half a pint is plenty.

Draft at the brewery. Reddish pour. Peppers dominate over some mild hops and a strong caramel malt backbone. Long, lingering pepper close. Solid pepper beer.
