On tap @ Bainbridge Island, shared with jcnielsen. Pours a golden yellow appearance with a white head. Toasted, cracker malty, floral nose. Nice noble hops in the flavor. Toasted grains, herbal, chalky flavor. Solid.

Growler @ Jon’s mansion. Pours a bit hazy golden appearance with a white head. Heavy, banana, clove, spicy, vanilla, light apple aroma. Medium body. Moderately sweet. Dull bitterness. Basically just banana, vanilla, and birthday cake flavor. Drinks not all that bad.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a clear dark copper with a small off-white head. Nose is somewhat medicinal, with some cough syrup, piney hops, and some spice - very weird. Flavour is thankfully much better, with big notes of resinous hops, caramel malts, and candied sugar. Well-balanced, with a fairly thin mouthfeel. Much better than the nose suggests. Great stuff.

moderate bitterness amber yellow color. Med body . Not so sophisticated but enjoyable.

Sample at Über Tavern. This beer is a clear copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium body with a resiny hops character and notes of roast malt and fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
