473 ml can. Pours a bright amber with light head that settles quickly. Aromas of old apples, other fruit, corn syrup and wet toasted malts. Sweet flavors follow same. Really just a malt liquor at 8%. OK for getting a buzz on I guess.

Thin brilliant white foamy head on a slowly carbonating amber coloured body. Fruity, grain & biscuit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lively back. Malt, grain, caramel & soapy tastes with a tangy fruity finish. Standard.

473ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, corn, red apple and faint grassy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily to watery texture and average carbonation. Not great, but it's refreshing, crushable and still better than a macro.

473ml can. Pours a crystal clear yellow gold with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild aroma of bready pale malt, red apple and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, corn, red apple, alcohol and slightly floral in a mild bitter finish. Medium body with a syrupy texture and average carbonation. Malt forward and too sweet for me.

Crisp enough for style, which sets it above many. Golden pour with fizzy head. Some barley presence. Can.

Some cereal and plenty of booze. Some lagered malt aroma. Golden pour with ok head. Just enough of that malt liquor type aroma to keep me from finishing this can.

Poured from 355mL can. Clear gold with small white head. Fairly malty with not much else. Not the worst.

Gold, but otherwise looks flat. Smells kind of industrial and tastes it, too. Heavy malts, a touch of acetaldehyde and low bitterness. Hits the low mark they're aiming for.

Pours with very good foam on a soft golden body. Tin and corn on the nose, but luckily no cheap alcohol stench which is important for a beer like this - quite possibly you'll be pouring it all over yourself after can number 5 and that stench could reduce your affability amongst the local populace. That said, the flavour is not necessarily awful - in fact it's kind of acceptable for a beer like this. Deep grain, soft molasses, heavy brown sugar, alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is full. Chilled it's not bad to drink at all in fact and a sweet bargain at like 8 bucks for a six pack. So really, extra points for a reasonably passable super cheap strong lager. 6 pack of cans found at a BC liquor store in Merritt.
