On tap at April Brews Day, pours black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma brings out shitloads of bourbon and vanilla beans that dominate. Flavour is intense as well, with tons of sweet vanilla beans upfront, followed by big bourbon notes and a little cocoa. Robust and rather brutal, with cloying sweetness on the finish. Decent.

Draft pour pint at the 192 lake trail taproom, as part of my hiatus end series. Very lighy, clear golden pour with a lasting fizz head. Wheat? Definitely. Cherry? Maybe. But just barely. The mystery aspect is whether there really is cherry in this. Small sweetness. Wheat heavy, but the beer remains a light feel overall. I watched about 12 pints of this get poured in the last 5 minutes. Definitely a beer that sounds good when it’s 70 degrees in the outdoor beer garden in March. Is it an amazing beer? Who cares.
