Golden colour. Very honey aroma. Taste has complex, floral honey, and sweet and actually just a nice character. Rich, desserty even for mead.

Bottle, pours a hazy golden with no head. Aroma brings out decadent honey, with medium sweetness and lots of wax. Flavour brings out tons of bees wax, heavy honey, and medium-high sweetness. Medium palate, with a lovely complexity. Very nice.

Corked bottle from Rudat, Dortmund, as Rudat Met-Honigwein
Measured Original Gravity: 1043
Skewed Refractometer Reading: 17.8°B
Dark blond color. It smells a bit of old Mead, maybe it’s the cork; it’s moderately sweet but also smooth, it has some honey notes, nice fruity esters, bit of wax; I’d like it more if it didn’t have that hint of bitterness.
For an industrial Mead, it’s a decent one.

Bottle - Pure sweet honey. Clear gold. Nice light sweet honey with just a touch of bitterness. Much mellower than the nose.
