Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy pale blond color, no head. The aroma is pungent, like some kind of wood sap, nettles, hazelnuts, even the feeling from passion fruit; I love it. Dry but smooth, a bit citrusy, some fruit flavor, very light smoke, and a light funky touch.
Unique, I like it a lot.

Cloudy blonde. Aroma is toasty, and with light pear. It’s mostly just odd. That toasty note continues but the finish turns south, and gets butyric though, which absolutely ruins it. Really wanted to like this, but it just didn’t work out.

Bottle - Toasted grain, very chip like and some light burnt note. Cloudy yellow with no head. Light and matey be pear, not sure because taste is so different it makes it hard. None of the burnt notes.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellow / blonde with no head. Nose brings out light smoke, some funk, and crisp crackery notes. Flavour isn't like the nose, with sweet pears and super crisp crackery notes. Finishes crisp and somewhat sweet simultaneously. Off the mark, but it's certainly not offensive. Smells intriguing, but it's not overly interesting.
