Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Summer fruit and light tropical fruit flavor with grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and grapefruit linger with light pine and light backing sweetness.

Tap@Faction. Pours deep ruby black, small brown head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is light overall, some roasty and ashtray notes, a bit of anise. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, roasty with some cocoa powder. Surprisingly light body, low carbonation.

Tap@Faction. Pours hazy reddish hazel with a small beige creamy head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is dark sugars, malty dark breads, spices, prunes, figs, belgian yeast. Flavor is medium sweet, minimal bitterness, quite spicy overall. Medium body. Interesting.

Tap@Faction. Pours clear orange with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Very light aroma, mostly citrus, grapefruit, pine. Light sweet, light bitter, some biscuit malts. Not harsh at all. Medium body. Decent, not great.

Tap@Faction. Pours clear orange with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is super light, a bit of citrus, pine, some caramel. Flavor is malty and sweet - hugely sweet actually. It tastes like unfermented malt extract. Light bitter, not much going on here; I hope just a bad batch. Medium body, bit of a harsh finish. Yuk.

Tap@Faction. Pours clear pale golden with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly with nice lacing. Aroma is light overall, with citrus, tropical notes, passionfruit, some dankness. Flavor is light as well, dank forest floor, citrus, minimal sweetness and lightly bitter. Light body, watery mouthfeel.

On tap at Gourmet Haus. Citrus, pine and slight earth aroma. Clear deep orange with full white head and webbing. Flavor is moderate grapefruit and slight pine with overt malt (biscuit and dough). Moderate high bitterness and semi-dry finish.

On tap at Steins in Mountain View. Pours an orange with even a hint of amber - darker than expected. Aroma is candi sugar and sweet grain. Almost no head, just a collar of white. Taste is sweet malt, viscous and minimal syrupy. Finishes dry.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with an off-white head. Aroma of light stone fruit and caramel. Full body or nearly. Flavor is quite malty, but there is so much hop that’s not an issue. Finishes caramel and fruit. Lots of Hop. Fairly bitter finish. Extremely tasty.
