Draft pour to a schooner at the Collective. Cloudy pale golden color with a ton of foam head. It’s nice to know that the closest Seattle brewery to my house knows how to make a badass IPA. Even though I can probably hit a golf ball into Lake Forest Park from Hellbent, it’s still Seattle. Nice citrusy aroma. Flavor is a lemon and orange fruit front, with a creamy citrus finish. Very clean flavor. This beer is listed at the brewery as The Cut IPA, and they describe it as a strong pale. I said this one rating ago. I dot get styles, but doing the research is always a good time. I’ll attempt a more straight to the point rating instead: Draft. Schooner. Golden. Citrus. Good.

Draft pour to a tulip at Hellbent. Oily copper orange pour with a patchy fizz head. Aroma is full of spices. Flavor is cool, spicy, sweet, caramel. A ton going on. Quite complex, and enjoyable. Tasty stuff here.

Draft pout at Hellbent. I’ve actually had this a few tines, but failed to rate for some reason. Cloudy pineapple juice color pour with a thin fizz head. Floral fruity aroma. Flavor is grassy, floral. Semi dry finish. Unique, but the flavor is less my liking. There is one scenerio where I enjoy the hell out of this beer.. but other tomes, it’s alright.

Draft at brewery. Pretty hazy dark golden color. This is the traditional American Belgian-style Tripel. Meaning there is honey, it’s sweet, charactervlightly slightly offsetting rhe sweetness. Not hot, low banana but fruity yeast. I can handle this but those looking for a traditonal Belgian style tripel will be dissapointed.

Draft pour at Hellbent. Cloudy pale golden pour with a thin oily head. Some dank hop character aroma. Flavor is dry, big bitter, with a grassy finish. Too bitter for what it is, but there are good things going on here.

Draft pour to an IPA pint, at Hellbent. Mostly clear golden pour with a rocky foam head. Very well balanced citrus aroma and flavor that isn’t sweet, and isn’t bitter. Juicy citrus flavor with an excellent hop finish. Headliner IPA here. Loved it.

Since I’m here, I figured I would update from the backlog. Draft pour pint at Brouwers.  Pours a dark red with a lasting foam tan head.  Nutty.  Dusty. Malt heavy. Semi dry malt finish.  Pretty good.
