Hazy, pale amber. Chewy hop, some sticky caramel malts. Is okay but that’s about it.

Medium brown, thin head. Ok so lots of lavender and raspberry on the nose. Very literal. Fair bit of bitterness, but the flavour elements are restrained, balanced on the palate.

Ugly cloudy dull colour. Thin head. Yeasty, a little bitterness and orange notes. Wheaty. Some alcohol late. Messy.

On tap at beer star pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is lots of fruit sweetness some soap I can see. Taste is more of the sweet fruit notes a little tart and soap.

Boozy and herbal. Orange pour with ok head. Tons of caramel - like a barley wine. Bittersweet boozy end. Tap at el borracho.

Pours a nice dark brown from a bottle, khaki head. Roast coffee aroma, flavor is actually somewhat sour, infected bottle? Doesn't damage it, just changes it, certainly not picking up any cocoa or vanilla. Good beer? Just not what I asked for?

Draft pour at Bad Jimmys. A near black pour, almost no head. First impression - a Smokey root beer. So weird! A ton of wood on the flavor and aroma. Bourbon, sure. But the wood chips took over. I actually like the slight smokey note. Dry finish. A dusty chocolate powder finish. Surprisingly fun, but overall, just okay.

Draft pour at Bad Jimmy's. Copper pour, mostly clean. I figured to find a lot more apple in this, considering it was intended to be an apple IPA. It's subtle. There, yes, but barely. Sweet malt nose. Flavor is a soft caramel, moderate bitter, smooth apple. Lingering apple and bitter hop finish. Odd, but not bad.

Draft pour at Bad Jimmys. Good capture of the candy bar here in this brown. A copper brown pour with a thin fizz head. Cocoa, soft malt aroma. Flavor is a nutty grain. Peanut butter reminder. Heath bar more so than nutter butter. Fun and unique flavor overall. Pretty good.

Draft pour at Bad Jimmy’s, Ballard, labeled as Girl Scout Dropout Samoa. Clean and clear golden pour. Intrigued by the beer, but expectations set to a guess. Thin, active fizz head. Malt forward aroma, a touch sweet. Flavor is a nutty malt, with a slight chocolate and coconut backround. Some caramel notes hang around. I suppose in that case, they hit their goal. Not as delicious as the cookie though, that’s for sure. In their defense, duplicating the magic of a Somoa into a beer would be quite the task. Still, unique, and drinkable for sure. A fun beerbeer.
