Tap at Colorado Plus - nose is an interesting mix of anise, cinnamon, cream, light banana, raisin - flavor is actually fairly dry and moderately tart up front - this is followed by cinnamon, nutmeg, prune, cream - banana is actually fairly subdued - sweet finish of raisin, chocolate and mild spices - I went in not expecting much, but I’m actually digging this quite a bit.

Tap at Colorado Plus - lightly hazy ruby - nose of caramelized/burnt sugars, light smoke, roasted nuts, mild clove - fairly creamy mouthfeel - full body - flavor is sweet caramelized sugars up front, followed by strong toasted grain,moderate phenols of pepper and clove, mild bubblegum esters - finish of lingering clove, cocoa fairly high sweetness - a decent take on the style.
