Fra flaske (takk til globetrotteren Olav!): tilstand!mye kvaelignende humle maskerer innledningsvis maltsødmen som kommer etter hvert og gir det hele en fin balanse. God. Lang og balansert ettersmak. Filmskum. Kjempegøy med gode øl helt fra andre siden av kloden. Gleden ved å ha rbhd i langt fremskredet tilstand. (Nr. 4 i verden til å rate denne)

Shared bottle courtesy of OB 24.11.14. Hazy golden. Off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits. Fine and very fruity taste, with sweet wine gum and succade. Bitterness in aftertaste.

Shared 750 ml bottle, thanks to our beerpal Olav. Deep golden to amber colour, huge white head. Aroma of American hops. Fairly sweet flavour, heavily hopped with strong resinous notes.

Pours brown with a small head.Nose shows heavy American oak with big vanilla and creme brulee notes alongside some equally sweet-smelling golden syrup and brown sugar characters.Similarly sweet flavours. Creme brulee, burnt caramel, woody oak, brown sugar, toasted coconut. Perhaps a bit too sweet.Could use more carbonation to help with the sweetness.

(Bottle, 0.75 l - BBE Jun 2015, from Alko Arkadia, 20140919) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had chocolate, vanilla, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, chocolate, vanilla, fruitiness, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, malty and bitter. A nice brew but the barrell components were unnecessary addition.

Pours and orangey golden color, clear, topped with a nice white head. It’s solid and retention is pretty decent. There are are some fruity malts in the aroma, some spices as well. Some little caramel touch also present. The taste is sweet, creamy with decent amount of caramel. Some bitterness in the finish. A new country for me, plus a very good beer.

Thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. The beer starts smooth, caramel, fruity. Hints of bitterness to the middle, very fruity. Ripe pears together with a very refreshing taste of malt, Highly drinkable. The aftertaste is bitter, smooth, fruity. Highly drinkable and fruity-flavourful.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes dunkelbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig fruchtig, blumig, würzig. Geschmack stark malzig, fruchtig, Gewürze, blumig.
