Pour is a clear gold with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is cheap malt. Flavor is more grainy malt with a slight bitterness. Cheap macro lager vibes which is fine for summer day drinking it's just not all that exciting.

Quarantine Beer #055 sampled at home from 2017 bottle #044/120 on 04/11/2020. Brown-black pour with some brown around the edges and a medium beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, malt and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate fudge and roast malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Slightly hazy yellow color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lace. Grassy hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall, RIP Four String.

2015 bottle #18/152. The beer pours black with some chestnut around the edges, and a medium tan head that diminishes quickly to a film. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall, RIP Four String.

Hazy gold pour. The aroma is of caramel malt and some citrus hops. Flavor is similar with mild to moderate hops bitterness. Medium bodied. Overall it's okay.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a cup. Clear dark brown with small off-white head. Aroma is light chocolate, medium body, low carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is light chocolate and a little vanilla.

Sample at the CCBW Six One Pour festival on 05/12/2018. Hazy orange-amber color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lace. Stone fruit, hops and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, herbal hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a stone fruit and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum, canned April 30, 2018 can poured into a glass. Hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is herbal hops and wheat esters.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a yellow gold will a medium sized foamy white head that left some lacing. The aroma was sour mash industrial lager. The flavor was sour mash, a bit of grain and grass. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Sample at Pint Room Dublin during "The Pint Room March Madness!" event on 03/16/2018. Cloudy yellow-orange color with a medium white frothy head that dissipates gradually to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, floral hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, mild hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrus and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
