Rosehip and grapefruit nose, not strong. Clear golden, medium head. Orange peel and lemongrass. Medium body, soft carbonation, warm. Barely recognizable as a lager, but why shouldn’t lagers be hoppy?

Bready, pleasantly yeasty nose. Hazy auburn, medium, creamy tan head, great lacing. Malt, grain, husk, pencil shavings. Medium body, easy carbonation. I love the name. It’s a great wink and nod to the locals. Only the locals would know what the HRBT is and why it sucks. The beer, on the other hand is very good.

Lemon zest, rosehip nose. Clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Rosehip, honey. Lingering sweetness I don’t like, perhaps a bit underattenuated, but more likely its light on bittering hops in trying to achieve a Scottish character. Medium body, easy carbonation.

Walnut, savory, quinoa nose. Cloudy brown, medium head. Roast, wood, hearty quinoa. Medium body, easy carbonation. I honestly don’t know how wattle seed tastes on its own, but this beer has a wonderful heartiness I recognize in quinoa. NIce job!
