Bottle, gusher. Golden color with white head. Aroma is candy, hops, and fresh yeast as well as some soap - like an extremely young Orval. Taste is the same, with a bit of a graininess and a bitter finish. Ok.

75cl bottle. Fast schwarze Farbe, geringe bräunliche schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, schokoladig, rote Früchte. Geschmack süß malzig, schokoladig, leider eine störende hohe Karbonisation.

750ml bottle [received as a gift from Maddie - thank you very much for hunting down the latest Hamburg brewery!]. Jet black colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, reawakable, tan head. Roasty dark malty aroma, hints of cocoa, an ephemeral touch of blueberry and blackberry. Taste is moderately bitter, roasty dark malty, subtle chocolately, caramel malty sweetness, a touch of coffee, cautious hints of liquorice and blueberry; lively carbonation. Nice composition, but clearly overcarbonated and sadly a bit far from desirable smoothness and creaminess. Mouthfeel becomes better with short-term glass-shaking but seemingly transforms the aroma a bit in a doughy direction.

0,75 bottle, purchased at Bierland Hamburg for roundabout 12 Euro. Drunk at a big bottle session with Kristall-König. Unclear pale orange in the glass, one finger off white frothy head. Dry maracuja and malt on the nose. Taste the same, intense malty, some hop, earthy, fruity, dry belgian yeast. Low pleasant bitterness. Strong taste for a Blonde.
