Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. A bit of a metallic off note as well, but not much. Okay aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy/spicy hop notes; with poor strength. Taste of wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of wheat, cracker, biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and robustness of pale malt and earthy/spicy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast ester notes present. Good amount of dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a smooth, crisp, fairly sticky, and lightly grainy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.1%. Overall this is a very solid pale lager style. All around solid robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy/spicy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. This was hoppier than I expected, but not overdone. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast and dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big raisin, plum, cherry, fig, apple, pepper, clove, light banana, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, light chocolate, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Moderate amount of yeast spiciness and light herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of raisin, plum, cherry, fig, apple, pepper, clove, light banana, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Light dryness from yeast spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth present after the finish. Overall this is a very good dubbel style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of earthy blueberry and sweet grains with a bit of straw. Flavor is pretty much straight sweet blueberry muffin.

Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, caramel, toasted bready, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Petoskey Nerf. Growler thanks to Marty & Susan! Pours a near clear dark brown with an amber hue and a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark grains and roasted malts with a bit of chocolate and a hint coconut. Flavor is similar with dark grains, chocolate and roasted malts with a hint of coconut underlying.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Clear pale golden with small white head. Aroma is nice clean pilsner malt, medium/light body, and some smal-bubble lacing. Taste is pilsner malt, corny, hay, some grass. and grainy.

Growler thanks to Marty! Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has earthy flora and light fruits backed by Belgian spice and some grains. Flavor has tons of grass with a hint of flora and a bit of a hay backing. A bit dry.

Bottle. Lactic barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with large white fluffy head. Lightly sweet creamy barley malt and moderately bitter weed/hay flavor.
