On tap at the brewery. Pours black with a brief light tan head. Strong cocoa syrup aroma. Flavor is sharp, strong sour cocoa, soy, red grape, and a lot more grain alcohol taste than I'd expect for this ABV level. I like it a lot, though.

On cask at the brewery. Pours a brown amber with a light haze and an off-white creamy head. Light toasty malt and caramel in the aroma. Flavors of caramel and toasty malt, red grape. Very smooth with spicy hops and a light bitterness. It's pretty nice.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a largely clear golden amber with a white head. Spicy, citrusy hops in the aroma, pine hops, caramel. Flavors of floral, herbal hops, pine, grapefruit, almost perfumey, with some nice biscuit and a nice sweetness. Very nice!

Howler from the brewery. Pours a clear golden amber with an off-white head. Yeasty bubble gum, clove in the aroma. Flavor has yeasty pale malts and green grape, a touch of honey sweetness, with coriander poking in occasionally. This is very well done. An excellent tripel.

16 oz yelper from the brewery. Pours deep brown to black with a light tan head. Lots of brown sugar in the aroma. Flavor has brown sugar, cocoa, some roasty flavor, with an overall mintiness to it. Pretty well done.

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Basil and malty aroma. Flavor is basil backed up with honey, biscuity pale malt. Good, but it makes me want something like a basil IPA.

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Citrus and caramel aroma. Flavor is bitter, floral, herbal hops, toasty malt, caramel. I wrote that it was nice and old school, then I drew a face expressing my disappointment in myself for saying that.
