The appearance was a murky brown color with a thin white foamy head that fell off fairly quick. Left some light lace.
The aroma had some coffee sweet and roastiness, light leather, some leaves and nuts. Light earthy hops come out decently.
The flavor was roasty and sweet firmly rooting the aftertaste in the same sort of way. Lingering malty finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessioability about it. Light carbonation. ABV felt good.
Overall, good brown ale worthy of having again.

The beer is a dark amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates gradually to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt, fruit and slight hops. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at Terra Firma. Pours a deep brown with an off-white head. Cocoa and roasty aroma. Sweet cocoa and coffee flavors with a touch of coconut. Works really well, quite tasty.

On tap at Terra Firma. Amber pour with a white head. Butterscotch, citrus, floral aromas. Flavor has citrus and floral hops, a touch of butterscotch, some definite bitterness. Pretty good.

16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/27/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep reddish copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, floral, grass, light citrus, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready/roast malts and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, floral, grass, light citrus, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Moderate amount of herbal/grassy and lightly roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, floral, grass, light citrus, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/roast malts and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming lingering after the finish. Overall this is a very nice standard amber ale style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/bready/roast malts and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
