Bottle at Zeke’s Roadhouse. Nose of malt and nothing else. Tastes mostly of barley but if you dig you"ll get some citrus hops, dough, herbal, and cherry.

Sparkly light copper. Thin head. Sweet malty aroma. Has a creamy malt character with slight herbal hops. Might prefer this a little drier but I guess they are trying to showcase the malt.

Slightly hazy straw. Thin head. Grainy sweetish taste. Pretty bland. Wow, forgettable stuff right here.

Clear golden beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: citrus, urine, bad malts. MF: ok carbon, light body, watery texture. Taste: also watery, citrus touch from the hops but that's it. Aftertaste: none. If this is supposed to be the upscale product, they could at least put some flavour in the bottle.

27/09/2011 65cl. bottle @ our hotel room - bottled 3/7/11 (2011-458)
Clear pale yellow beer under aery white head, bit more stable than the Club beer, bit adhesive as well. Aroma: sulfur, methane, some hops, hint of sewer. Pretty nasty. Taste: malts and bitter hops, better than the Club. Some citric hop hints. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, but also a nasty sulfur touch. Long lasting bitterness.

27/09/2011 65cl. bottle @ our hotel room - bottled 6/9/11 (2011-457)
Very pale yellow beer, aery white head, unstable and non adhesive. Aroma: malts, sweet corn, metallic, after a while, only the metallic remains. MF: lots of carbon, very thin body, watery texture. Taste: some sour up front, more likely the carbon than anything else. Very little bitterness of hops, more sweet malts. Aftertaste: slim to none. Boring as hell. Better to have a soda.

Bottle from a surplus outlet in Roseville, CA. Bears date of 03/24/10. Pours gold with a creamy 3 finger white head. Light herbal hop aroma. Med body. Flavor is lightly bready with some lightly spicy/herbal hop. Decent finish. Better by far than many. The hop even builds up a bit. It’s actually a bit bitter. :)

There’s hops in the nose! A little grassy, a little spicy, not overall strong, but there. Also a fresh bready malt. Straw gold, modest head. Comes across a little like a pilners, with a little spicy hop flavor and a good dose of bitterness at the finish, but there’s something funky here. Its a little tart, with some astringency at the finish, and possibly some DMS. Well heck, it was promising on first sniff but went downhill from there. OK, the body is quite nice, with a full pleasant carbonation, medium mouthfeel, so its growing on me again but that funk is still there.
