Bottled. Black colour, small beigeish brown head which leaves some lace. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, mild toffee, toasted notes as well as some mild ashes and ripe fruits. Flavour is chocolate, toffee, mild toasted notes some nutty and raisiny notes.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, slightly smoky, dark malty aroma, notes of leather, peat, disguised hints of dark chocolate, mocha, a touch of chipotle. Taste is minimally dry, roasty, slightly smoky, dark malty, spicy, notes of dark chocolate, mocha, some peat, a cautious touch of chipotle, subtle sweetness, a touch of honey, plum butter; minimally warming finish.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 18B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 18-077 (BBF 09/06/20). AROMA: medium-low mix of diacetyl and hop notes starting to show oxidation. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium off-white head with good retention. TASTE: similar to aroma with medium-low hops (slightly citric) and starting to oxidize (isovaleric). background of neutral malt. medium-high to high bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium to medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an APA with diacetyl present and starting to show oxidation.

Botella 33 cl de Vivalabirra tomada en Belmonte 14..06..2018. (r04) lote 18..309. Fcpref 01..2019. Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro. Sabores maltas y cereales tostados con toques suaves dulces, avainillados. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena densidad y paso fino en boca. Bastante buena para repetir.
