Cask at the Bootlegger, 28/06/18. Light haze on a golden amber pour with a decent faded beige covering. Nose is biscuit, straw, dried fruits, caramel, nutty. Taste comprises brown bread, light spice, malty, biscuit, stewed fruits, dusty. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with moderate bitterness. Ok cask offering.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 16/06/18. Pale golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon tinged straw, grains, yeast esters, faint apple, light spice, farmyard notes. Taste comprises mellow yeast, white peppery spice, lemon rind, toasted grains, damp hay, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with mellow background hops. Decent cask saison.

Half pour (cask) at Post Office Vaults. Medium golden with small airy head. Slick and smooth. Fruity aroma, citrus peel, floral. Taste refle ts this odd mixture too, comes off as soapy, but oddly pleasant. Mild hops with strong character.

Cask at the Alehouse, Reading. A chestnut pour with a ring of beige head; sweet biscuit malt aroma; a sweet malty body with some caramel and touch of sour red fruit; followed by a gentle spicy bitterness; and a sweet grainy finish.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 12/04/18. Clear golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is mellow citric peel, grassy hops, toasted grains, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises melon, straw, pineapple, light bread, airy malts, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow balanced hop bitterness. Ok cask pale.

Bottle picked up from the brewery consumed at home Tuesday 6th March 2018Pours light gold, excellent clarity, there is a slim white head atop. Sweetness persists more than a hoppy presence, there are hops however they are quiet. Not so crisp as I was expecting, soft in the mouth, it's fine. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2
