Gravity cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. New Bucks rate ... rare as rocking horse shit these days! Golden with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is pale malts, grass, tangerine, straw. Taste comprises orange peel, melon, soft breads, pale malts, herb. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a modest bitter edge. Okay.

26/7/2024. Cask at The Redoubt Beer Festival 2024, Harwich. Pours clear orange gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, orange, citrus, stone fruits. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness, touch tart. Moderate body, slightly oily and watery, soft carbonation. Started a little rough but improved a lot.

Cask at the strugglers inn Lincoln. Golden colour with a white head. Arkk ok and taste are light fruity citrus and slight bitter.

24-27/10/2023. From cask at the 45th Norwich Beer Festival. Pours clear dark golden amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Good pour. Aroma of lychee, citrus, orange, grapefruit, tropical notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, average to soft carbonation. Drying lychee finish. Nice.

24-27/10/2023. From cask at the 45th Norwich Beer Festival. Pours slightly hazy straw gold with a small bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, gooseberry, orange, biscuit, berries, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly oily, soft carbonation. Drying husky fruit finish. Pretty good.

Cask ale at Alehouse, half-pint shared with Finn. Bright amber-gold body, off-white bubbly head, spotty lacing. Quite promising smell of dried fruits and subdued malty sweetness. Balanced flavours of ripe citrus fruit and mild caramel malts. Discreet bittersweet finish. just okay. (Reading, 01.10.2023).

[Cask at the Castle Tap, Reading.] A chestnut brown pour with a thin cream coloured head; fruity aroma; slightly sour berry taste and a malty body.

Pours a lightly hazed coppery amber colour with a tiny thin off-white head that disappeared. Aroma is malty and fruity. A similar taste, sweet malts, caramel, mango and red berry fruit flavours with a sharpish tart and bitter finish.
