Location: 12 oz can from Spec's, 4/21/14
Aroma: The aroma is clove/spice, wheat, Belgian yeast, banana, and some orange zest
Appearance: It pours an unclear orange color with an off-white head on it
Flavor: The taste is much the same, a little sweet, spice, mildly tart, and with a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an average carbonation, a bit of creaminess
Overall Impression: Brought this and the Weekend Warrior to a work BBQ. Both were great beers for that kind of crowd (mostly people who drink Shiner and the like or don't beer at all), because they are both well-made, but not aggressive beers. Hopadillo, for example, would have been too aggressive. As for this one specifically, I like what they did here. One of the better new (to me) wheat beers I have tried in recent memory.

Location: 12 oz can from Spec's, 4/21/14
Aroma: The nose is clean hops, some citrus, grass, and some pale malts
Appearance: This one pours an amber color with a beige head
Flavor: The flavor is clean, with a light sweetness and a medium bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, clean, easy drinking, with a low ABV feel, and a light dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a nice, drinkable, APA. At barley over 5% is is easy to session. This isn't an assertive beer, but it is well-made. I have no complaints.

Location: Draft at Whole Foods - Montrose, 4/1/14, 200th DIPA Rating!
Aroma: The aroma is boozy/bourbon, some heavy malts, and a little hops
Appearance: It pours a dark, almost murky orange, with a decent amout of lace/head
Flavor: The flavor is sweet and bourbony, with plenty of sweet DIPA malts, and a lighter hop feel
Palate: The body is fairly full, it has a pretty nice feel, some stickiness, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: I actually found this one good too. It is a bourbony DIPA with a nice flavor. Sure, it leans sweet, malty, and bourbony for the style, but I enjoyed it. Good stuff.

Flavor: The flavor is lightly sweet, some wine flavor, and a good amount of hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a clean feel, some average carbonation, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: I was impressed by this one. I really liked how the wine aging played on the base beer. Very nice stuff.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Central Market, 4/1/14
Aroma: The nose is full of smoked malts and meat, and some other malty notes
Appearance: It pours a brown-black color without much head or lace at all
Flavor: The taste is mostly smoked meats/malts, some peat, and a little roast
Palate: The body is medium, it has average-plus carbonation, and a bit of a roasty feel
Overall Impression: This is a nice smoked. The meaty/smokey flavor dominates over mostly everything else. Overall, this is a pretty nice example of the style.

Draft - Skunky piney hops. Cloudy copper with a rich beige head. Tastes just like it smells, with a very well balanced bitterness and sweetness. A great IPA.
