Description
An independent, family-run brewery for over 110 years. True Belgian craftsmanship. That's Haacht Brewery.
On June 14, 1898 Eugène De Ro brewed his first top fermentation beer. Four years later he also started brewing bottom fermentation beer. His beers were such a hit that ‘Haecht’s Dairy Company and Brewery’ became one of the best Belgian breweries in 1913. In the fifties and sities there were numerous small takeovers and the Haacht Brewery beers were being distributed across the entire country. Thanks to the take-overs of breweries in the south of the Netherlands and northern France, Haacht Brewery set foot ashore in neighboring countries. In 1990, Haacht Brewery started the complete replacement of its production apparatus; the whole process was completed around 2015. Today, Haacht Brewery is a state-of-the-art brewery, inspired by its history and at the same time more than ready for the future.

On s'ennuie.

Amber colour, frothy head that stays long. Aroma is bubble gum, spices, biscuit, some herbal hops. Light bitterness, slightly acidic, which does not work well. Lively carbonation. Initially good, becomes tiring closer to end.

[33cl bottle from Beer52.] A hazy pale amber pour with a tight cream coloured head; aroma of yeast and coriander; smooth and creamy in the mouth with a grainy body and a fresh and crisp yeast and coriander taste; then a dry finish with some biscuit and a trace of banana. An excellent Witbier.

Fluffy white left a decent cover on a cloudy pale lemon coloured body. Citrus & chalk aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & nicely carbonated on the back with a dry aft. Spiced orange, lemon, bubble gum & banana tastes with a big fruity finish. Very good easy drinker.

Bottle at home. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a slight distant caramel touch, a bit metallic bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Mwah.
