Description
Here at Beards we embrace quality and balance in all of our practices. And we extend that belief to all things craft—whether it’s music, food, or art—we are always open to new collaborations and opportunities.
It’s still early in our story, but armed with a great team, albeit a small one, we are off to a fantastic and adventurous start. At Beards we work hard, focusing on quality, creativity and community. Stop in to watch us brew, and enjoy a pint or two.

Can with an awesome label. Pours a hazy pale orange with a thin head. Flavors are soapy, with a little bread dough, some light citrus and a little bit of a floral something. Flavor is very blah for an IPA. Kind of a floral soapiness and too much malt. As a pale, sure... as an IPA, hell no!

Can. Pours a clear dark brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark grains and chocolate supported by roasted malts and a hint of smoke. Flavor starts with dark grains and chocolate but has growing roasted malts and a bit of smokiness underlying.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a dense foam head and aromas of light citrus with a touch of honey. Flavor is a punch of grapefruit rind with a nice balance to the whole thing. It’s kinda watery, but decent enough after a couple other beers that didn’t get finished this evening.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a slight burnt amber color with a cap of a little white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some smooth caramel/toffee malts up front with a touch of herbal hop character gently hitting some floral and faint citrusy hops. Some toast and nuts.
The flavor gently guided the malts to the hops - smooth yet semi-sweet with a touch of bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and the finish was fairly smooth.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a pretty good sessionable quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as projected.
Overall, almost American amber ale to me with a bit more unexpected citrusy and floral hop bitterness, but hey, it was good and that’s all that mostly matters anyways.
