A chill hazed to slightly sedimented pour showing a peachy-copper color with deeper ambers and an off-white head that fades steadily to nothing.
In the nose you get a quick shot of caramel/toffee before everything is overtaken by hazelnuts. Spicy, nutty and with light roast character. Seemingly quite dry and with light alcohol lingering.
Mega-hazelnut in the mouth. Yikes. That's ALOT of hazelnut. Dominates the beer which otherwise shows high attenuation and low carbonation. Light caramel and toffee-like sweetness is all I can gather, with a good fruitiness, but it's difficult to find much here aside from hazelnut. Soft, malty texture and light alcohol warmth on the finish.

Pint can pours with a clear deep copper to amber body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up figs, earthy dates, caramel and brown sugar. The taste delivers smooth figs, dates and plum flowering into thin sweet molasses and brown sugar. Behind those notes the yeast and slight mineral sensation help give this an authentic German doppelbock feel.

32oz crowler pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a tall tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up dates, plums, fruit cake and plenty of vanilla. The taste delivers a smooth fairly balanced blend of sweet molasses, dates, plums and vanilla. Nice. The vanilla has some depth and character to it just before a modest level of booze hits and ushers this experience to the finish. Once my expectations and palate adjusted it's been good times ever since. Well played.

32oz crowler pours with a light mahogany colored body that has deep copper hues and supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up smooth inviting maple, some bourbon barrel notes, oak, dark fruity esters, faint vanilla bean and then a bit of booze into the end of the draw. The taste delivers similar notes with soft smooth rounded off and a bit forward maple intertwined with sweet dark fruity esters, molasses and then brown sugar nuanced smooth bourbon barrel character. This comes together really nice. Great sipper.

32oz crowler pours with a crystal clear deep gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up pineapple, guava, passionfruit, apple and a bit of grapefruit. The taste delivers juicy passionfruit and tangelo and instant Tang and grapefruit. Interesting combination where a tropical fruit sweet / tart candy sensation is summoned up.

22oz bomber pours with a clear mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up molasses, apple, oak and plenty of booze. The taste delivers smooth sweet molasses, prunes and malts. It then quickly gets into spicy oak soaked sufficiently in booze. Every so often the oak gives up some boozy vanilla. Nice sipper.
