32oz crowler pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up slightly bready pils malts as well as a blend of floral, spicy and earthy grassy hops. The taste delivers similar notes with an initial pils malt sweetness running into floral and spicy hops. The sweet pils grow to midway as does the modest level of hop bitterness. In between those notes are a thin medley of sweet estery fruitiness. This is a pretty nice pils but it could be a little dryer and a little less sweet.

32oz crowler pours with a hazed copper body that supports a tall light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up strawberry, mint, a woodiness, grassy almost lemon grass like notes and then some pine hoppiness. The taste delivers a smooth slightly cracker maltiness and then quickly jumps into bitter pine, spicy onion and grassiness. Behind the bitter hops are flavor hops that are grapefruit, strawberry and flowery floral notes. It leaves behind a lingering floral and bitter strawberry hoppiness amid a slight resurgence of the crackery malts. Solid.

32oz crowler pours with a turbid opaque dull copper body that supports a full light tan head. The aroma has a great blend of tangy tangerine, cantaloupe, papaya and earthy spicy tea coated mango. Behind those notes is a mild inviting earthy tea sensation. The taste delivers a balanced degree of juicy citrus and tropical fruity notes. To midway a pleasing modestly bitter citrus and earthy spicy dankness comes to the surface mingling seamlessly with the juicy notes. Like the nose there’s a bit of earthy tea going on in the background. Solid easy drinking beer with smooth restrained hoppy richness.

The taste delivers smooth bread to biscuit malts and quickly running into malt sweetened lime, floral and spicy hops. The hops achieve a pretty tasty level and give a little ground to the bready biscuit sensation. Nice. Usually this style is too sweet. This one is a little sweet but the sweetness is restrained.

32oz crowler pours with a hazy somewhat dull gold body that supports a full near white head of foam. The aroma offers up saltiness, saltine cracker, apple, apricot and faint apricot nuanced woodsy notes. The taste delivers the requisite gose saltiness and then gives way to a growing tart citrus as well as a nice earthy shrub like grassiness riding just above a faint earthy basement sensation. Another sip reveals a layer of earthy woodsy sweet apple banging around amid the brighter sharper notes. As it warms I get a wafer thin sense of smokiness too. This creates a fun flavor play and the level of saltiness is right there. Not too much but it’s not at all hidden either. Full flavored Gose.

The aroma offers up spicy sort of farmhouse Saison notes as well as tangelo, clementine, a dash of mango and then a dose of grapefruit toward the end of the draw. The taste delivers a modest level of spicy farmhouse Saison notes and then quickly getting into grapefruit, orange zest and clementine bitter hoppiness. Well behind the bitter hops and spiciness murmurs a thin layer of citrus hop flavor like juiciness. A few more ounces consumed and a modest degree of mango juiciness and a spicy hoppy citrus zing are noticed. It’s crisp and clean and ends on the dry side and will make for a terrific hot weather go to beer. So I hope more is made in August.

The taste delivers smooth mango, honey dew and apricot fruity juiciness. To midway hop bitterness grows with mildly bitter pineapple, pink grapefruit and tangerine. A few more sips and the juicy mango, guava and tangerine seems to only grow. Into the finish a pleasing cracker maltiness bubbles to the surface creating a great medley of flavor notes. This is solid.

50cl bottle, from King’s Convenience, pours with a near clear pure gold body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up a sweetened wheat hit, sweet vanilla oakiness and then a thin citrus sourness. I’m not getting any toasty oak notes. The taste delivers smooth malts, a brief flash of light skinned fruity esters and then growing sweet vanilla oak. The oak becomes modestly spicy to midway just as the somewhat tart lightly puckering sourness bubbles to the surface. This is pretty nice but the oaky sweet vanilla is a little too forward as it adds to elevate the sweetness.

32oz crowler pours with a nice dark chocolate colored body that supports a mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of dark roasted malts, molasses, a thin nuttiness, a dash of toffee and then deep reaching chocolate maltiness. The taste delivers smooth growing dark roasted malts and chocolate malts that have just the right level of sweetness added in to create a rich textured experience. The chocolate notes are varied with some dark, milk and sort of an earthy malt ball chocolate sensation. This is smooth, clean and attains a pleasing richness that showcases this beer’s balance. Its sweetened dark roasted malts, chocolate milk shake and then thin toasted bread and a dash of toffee. Lovely.

Poured up at AZ Strong Beer Fest 2017 where it exhibits a near hazy deep mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up peaty notes, smooth sweet soft pork like smokiness and then a mild fudge brownie note. The taste is intense with the sweet rich maltiness swimming around lots of peaty and smoky notes and then smooth oily soft bacon smoky richness. To midway it gets into nice chocolate fudge brownie goodness that pulls this together and takes it to another level. This is rich, intense, balanced, wow! Dang, I couldn’t stop drinking this at Strong Beer. Had at least 6 double pours. Should of had more.
