Description
In March 2016, co-founders Bryan McCormick and Noel Garcia were introduced through mutual friends. They made it official in April and immediately started brewing on a one-barrel system.
After hearing about the Barnone project at Agritopia, Noel called Joe Johnston to see if there were any spots left. Thankfully there was and three days later it was a done deal! While construction on Barnone continued, Noel & Bryan upgraded to a 10-barrel system at their production facility and cranked out beers for their grand opening in November of 2016.

32oz crowler pours with a clear deep copper brown body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of spicy english ale yeast, cracker and biscuit as well as light notes of molasses, caramel and toasted bread. The taste delivers similar flavors like biscuit, spicy crystal malts and spicy yeast flowing into sweet malts, a thin earthy wet tobacco sensation and estery sweet plum. This comes together nicely.

Got in a trade with AZBeerDude72. 12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 5/17/2019. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is a delicious Bohemian pilsner. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, refreshing and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Nicely soft feel, and not aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great clean pils malt showcase, with nice noble hop presence/balance. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Pint can pours with a near clear gold body that supports a thin white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up mango, grapefruit and clementine heading into a faint cracker sensation. The taste delivers bright grapefruit, mango and tangelo and then some white grapes. To midway a modest degree of cracker like maltiness is noticed before it dries out into the finish. Nice Brut.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky opaque apricot juice sort of body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up an inviting blend of grapefruit and guava. The taste delivers smooth yet tangy tropical fruitiness with near bright guava and tangy juicy tangerine. It becomes a bit more bitter with grapefruit like hoppiness into the finish. This is tasting great with a crushable balance as well as flavor depth.

Poured up on tap at the Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a murky near opaque straw gold body that supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up inviting notes of pineapple and grapefruit and then softer notes of tangelo and floral hops. The taste delivers mildly juicy and moderately bitter notes of pineapple, tangelo and then growing grapefruit bitterness. To midway a floral citrusy hoppiness is noticed as it leads to a modestly dry finish. This is balance and dry and pretty darn crushable.
