Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish; great soft feel, and not aggressive. Thought it was infected at first with the over carbonation/initial aromas; got better as it warmed up. Over carbonation with not detrimental to drink ability at all.

Can from the brewery, about 70 days old. Aroma is nearly all malt. Hint of fruit. Tropical fruit? Where the hell is the tropical fruit? At this stage of its life it should not be this malty already. No bitterness because it’s really sweet. Another unconvincing beer.

Can. Hazy appearance. Aroma is decent citrus, pineapple, and malt. The flavor is slightly better than the 12 samples I had at the brewery months ago. The flavor is moderately sweet, grapefruit, pineapple, light citrus. Citrus comes forward as it warms. Pretty decent.

Draft taster pour at Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Appearance is milky, opaque light yellow with no sparkle, thin ring of white head, nice leggy lacing. Aroma is astringent citrus, but not in a bad way, mild herb. Taste is hard to pin down with different things going on--near as I can tell citrus, herb, fruit. A nice combination of sweet and herb. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and nice finish as taste. Overall, surprisingly thin for a DIPA, especially one with this much flavor. Dangerous, given the ABV--tread lightly indeed--and really solid and enjoyable! A brewer on the rise.

Draft taster pour at Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Appearance is milky, yellow opaque with no sparkle, thin ring of off-white head--grapefruit juice looking. Aroma is strong grapefruit, spices?--delicious smelling, and intriguing as it's hard to pin down--with some fruit and citrus. Taste is strong grapefruit, citrus. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with nice thin, smooth, frothy texture, carbonation is average and finish as taste. Overall, strong, unique aroma. If taste had followed, would have been special. As is, strong, juicy flavors--not ground breaking but good and solid.
