Brewing beers with a connection to the past is important to us. We love to brew traditional styles that honor the heritage of our craft and pay respect to those who have crafted beer before us. Yet, as an American craft brewer, we are elated to participate in the culture of experimentation that has developed here.

16 oz draft at The Club ATL. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a small white head and poor retention. No lacing either. Barely any pale malt aroma. Very basic, generic pale lager flavor with light lemon notes and a slightly metallic finish. Meh. Medium-light body. High carbonation. Low bitterness.

Crisp and grainy, with notes of honey, yeast, fresh flowers, and a touch of apple, followed by cut grass and a modest floral bitterness. Kind of plain for an anniversary beer but not bad.

Pours near black with a tan head. It smells of dark roast malt and coffee. The flavor is big on the same, roast character keeping the malty brew from being too sweet. There’s a creamy, medium body and a roasty finish. Very good

Pricey $4 single from Appalachian. No born on date. Shame, shame. Wait, website says 7.12.24, cool. Tall & sticky bleached head over a slightly chill hazed pale gold pour. Average smell of sweet grain, iron, honey, spinach. Got a slight clove note. Taste is lightly floral, honey, very mild herbal hops & faint citrus pleasantries. Some acid on the back. Lingering herbal. Not a whole lot of grain complexity here. None of that sweet decocted action noted. Hey, it's frothy & cold. Tis okay to almost good.

Bright red color and a light berry aroma. Light body and flavor of mild peach and berries with a seltzer-like dry finish. Easy drinking.

Pounder from Appalachian, canned 11/09/23. Crispy, mostly clear, pale honey gold pour with a lingering, fluffy head. Soft water, chemmy, sharp malt nose. Bite-y, acidic, long estery, strong & sweet, buttery malt, light herbal bitterness, sweet grass, sweet corn backend. Desperate for more of a bitter bite. Frothy, solid carb, just a bit thick. Very meh.

Very fruity, with melon, stone fruit, coconut, pineapple, and citrus pith on the front end, followed by lime zest and a touch of chive on the back, and a mineral bitterness in the fade. Pretty good pint.

Notes from 10/31/17 750ml bottle & tap from the source. Tulip glass. Cloudy, straw body. Foamy, almost meaty head. White wine, apricots, bubblegum, residual yeasts. Really floral on tap, a little less so much j bottle. Taste is dry, dusty, white wine & green table grapes. Juicy, moderately bitter hops, with a grainy wheat texture. Weird concord grape finish that seals it. Edible. Chewing on the glass grab and yeasty grain combo. Good stuff.
