Romans are kind of a traditional Vienna red Oktoberfest but a bit on the sweet spicy side. Flavors are similar to nose. Traditional toast comes out a bit but overall kind of mild. Slightly sweet finish. Carbonation is a tad soft. Drinkable but nothing special.

Tried 6/13/25. No notes on source. Black, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, mineral notes, chocolate, hops. Taste is roast, piney hops. Strong bitterness, well balanced. Nice.

Pint can from Festival Northland, 12/20/24. Hazy orange, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, pale malt. Taste is graefruit, melon, orange, lemon. Juicy, low bitterness (especially for something called a West Coast IPA). Solid beer though.

Pint can from Festival Northland, 12/20/24. Hazy dark orange, thin off-white head, average retention. Aroma of grapefruit, pine. Taste is grapefruit, plum (?), citrus. Well balanced.

16oz can. Stylistically makes no sense. Why would anyone ever want that cheap lemon syrup/flavor/who knows what stuff into anything other than a cheap candy? Tastes like almost a reasonable base beer. Drinkable in a way, but just an odd decision.

16oz can. Some serious floaties. Has a nice overall flavor and tone. Still has a fruity, soft Mosaic sweetness, even if there is some bitterness as well. Decent enough beer, probably a little better fresh on tap.

16oz can. Untrue look. Juicy, sweet, no real finesse. 6pack level haze at best. Boring Mosaic-Citra feel. Candied peach. Not that good.
