Thanks Tom!
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a milky somewhat dark brown color with a touch of foamy white head that fell off at a decent pace.
The aroma had some caramel/toffee malts up front with some nuts, somewhat roasty, and then some grassy hops, somewhat bitter. Earthy rye spice at the very end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side initially and ended up blending a bit more with the rye as it warmed. Light aftertaste of the toast and caramel/toffee malts. Not much of a finish, somewhat the toast.
The feel was about medium bodied, just a tad under. Carbonation felt good. And so did the ABV.
Overall, pretty good brown ale well worthy of having again.

Tallboy can from Flanagan’s Appleton. Hazy copper, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of grainy malt, lemon, a bit of pine. The taste is pine, lemon, tea, earth, pale malt. Medium bodied, refreshing, a bit different. Nice!

Poured into a snifter, the appearance was a deep dark brown almost black in color with a thin cap of a tan foamy head. Light messy lace.
The aroma had some roasty coffee bean up front and then some sweetness, almost like lactose. Then some milk chocolate, followed by toast and then ending with some caramel.
The flavor blended fairly decent with the previously mentioned aromas to project a fairly clean and sweet aftertaste flowing into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a good sipping quality about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt as projected by the brewer.
Overall, I say this was pretty good as an imperial porter worthy of having again.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a amber to brown sort of color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that quickly dissipated. Light lace.
The aroma had some coffee notes, light caramel malt. Some toast, then vanilla cream. Light hazelnut.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side through the prior noted aromas. Clean nutty crisp toast adds to it and ends up all blending into a nice aftertaste and a nice finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Sly carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, nicely done brown ale that I wouldn’t mind having again if I lived in its distro.

Tap at Sidedoor. Amber brown orange body. Respectable off-white head. Lots of malt depth, but the NZ hops peek through with some nice fruity tones. Mellow, thankfully not a dextrose one-d beer. Solid offering. Gooseberry tones as the deScription states.

Tap at SIdedoor. Big Belgian yeast tones, like a light tripel. Dry, aspirin tones too. Not so impressive but not so bad either. OKish for a brewpub example.

Tap at Sidedoor. Deep opaque brown-black. Big, steady, rusty, beige head. Chewy thick chocolate stout. Full bodied, but not overbearing. Cocoa covered graham cracker. Solid sweet stout.

Tap at Sidedoor. Deep brown-black body. Stained glass red edges. Foamy beige head. Pretty solid porter, drinks easy enough for the biggish ABV. Roasty brown chocolate notes. Solid example, not super maple forward though.

On tap at Side Door. Pours a hazy golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a combination of grass onion and pine with a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has more of s bitter citrus note with a hint of onion and grain backing.
