A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of hops, lending the beer notes of grass and grapefruits, which is combined with lighter notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, over ripe fruits, and fresh peaches and grapefruit, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

Bottled. Clear golden, mid sized head. Evident aroma of lychee, grapefruit and pine. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Driven by the tropical fruit-like hops all the way to the really bitter finish. A really tasty, highly aromatic ale.

Bottle. This is my third beer from Epic Brewing and I must say that Im impressed of the beers I´ve tried to this time. Mayhem reminds me a lot of the Epic IPA. It has the same white wine and gooseberry notes. The difference is the toffee/caramel notes in the background that the IPA dosent have. This makes this beer a little heavier and not as "super easy to drink", still drinkable though ;-) Well balanced.

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Pours medium off-white head with clear amber body. Head dies out pretty fast. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit and pine, hoppy overall. Maybe some caramel/toffeeish malts. In the flavour more of the malty component comes through with light sweetness and light to medium bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Nice aroma but the taste is a bit... bland. Something diacetyl-ish is coming through as well.
