Bottle @ In de Wildeman. Clear golden color, medium to full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly grains, decently refreshing with a little citrus and only a slight hint of banana. Decent body and soft carbonation. Not bad I’d say.

33 cl bottle @ Bierlokaal de Koffer, Groningen
Aroma has milky tones, some cocoa and roasted notes. Flavour has ash, licorice root, milky tones and some chocolate. Finishes with mild menthol notes. Palate is a bit fizzy. Smooth and easy to drink, the milky tones are not that nice though.

Bottle at De Paas. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, light fruits, herbs and a citric note. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Draft at De Paas. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of roast, milk chocolate, light lactose and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

bottle after #BFGM15 from Mitra Groningen, pours bright and pale golden with white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, grass. Taste is quite bitter, some grass, citrus, and hoppy. Palate is a bit dry, light body, well it´s ok i guess, however not great !

flesje meegenomen na @BFGM15, schenkt donker bruin met prikkelende Cola kraag :( .... aroma is vrij beperkt, enkel wat zeer lichte koffie en gebrande mouten, en minimale chocolade. Smaken zijn direct bij de eerste slok erg dun, zuurtje, koffie, geroosterde mout, gerst, maar erg dunne/waterige bedoeling allemaal, absoluut geen goede stout, er zit wel smaak aan het spul maar het komt mij allemaal wat dun/slap/saai en beperkt over.. --- Beer merged from original tick of Groninger Sweet Stout on 18 May 2018 at 15:22 - Score: 6
