Description

Pours dark amber/brown color with huge tan head. Aromas of caramel and bread dough with a little bit of funkiness. Caramel and roasted malt flavor with some dough and alcohol. Medium body with lively carbonation. Imperial stout? Really? I don’t know about that, but this is a strange brew for sure.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with a huge foamy tan head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was strongly musty and malty with notes of molasses and candied fruits. The flavor was tart and bitter with strong hickory and notes of orange and sugar. The finish was long, tart and bitter with woodiness overwhelming. Medium body. Very strange and just did not work for me.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very cloudy orange-amber color with a large foamy tan head. The aroma was bready and spice with the mustard seed definitely noticeable. The flavor was bitter, tart and bready with a fairly strong mustard element. The finish was long, bitter and tart with mustard lingering. Medium body. Quite odd.
