Description

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Murky, brown beer with a dense, beige head. Dried fruits, coriander, spices and roastiness in the aroma. The flavor has alcohol, sweetness, some spices, dried fruits and hops. Sweet, warming mouthfeel. Some hops in the finish. Not a beer for the summer time, it’s too heavy, but it’s lovely for a winter warmer or something like that. (070512)

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Except for lots of microfloaties, the beer is clear. The color is golden, and it poured without head. Honey, some spices, heather and too much alcohol in the aroma. Honey, sugar, heather and alcohol in the flavor. Medium to full body. A bit sticky and warming mouthfeel. Honey-sweet finish. Even though I think the alcohol is too dominant, I like it. It’s not world class, but it’s likeable. (070511)

(Bottle 25 cl) Slightly hazy, warm, amber golden with an off-white head. Spicy pumpkin aroma. Very full-bodied, sweet and sugary caramel notes - again with a spicy edge from the pumpkins. Unfortunately also a fusty edge. Warming alcohol in the finish. Rustic but very unclean. 160507

Bottled. Much preassure in bottle, but gives no head in beer glass, very active bubbles in the glass though. Colour of the beer is murku brownish orange. Aroma is mustard and some yeast. Flacour is sweet, acidic and a lots of spices, not so mastardy in my opinion. sweet and sour finish.

Pours ruby/amber into a trappist glass. No head to speak of. Pit fruit aromas. Cloying and flat with sharp dark fermented sugars upfront. Rum and oak in the middle. Lasting alcohol burn.

Bottle at firewaters...rich cloudy golden color, fluffy head that shrinks to about a centimeter...actually smells like mustard!! (faint but present) -balanced well- zingy body, refreshing..its a standard Belgian ale with a slight essence of mustard...interesting but not impressive

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Low malt aroma. Nice fruity esters (peach) with malt backing, slight yeast, and some tartness. Lingering fruit. Easy to drink.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy - mustard and coriander, combined with notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with very strong notes of mustard and over ripe fruits, leading to a dry and a bit watery end.
