Browar Okocim założony przez Jana Ewangelistę Goetza w 1845 roku to ponad 180 lat żywej historii piwowarstwa. Właściciel przyjął zasadę „najlepsze z najlepszego”, wychodząc z założenia, że najdoskonalsze piwa można warzyć tylko z najlepszych surowców.
Ideę tę browar podtrzymuje do dziś i tym samym gwarantuje najwyższą jakość piwa.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and marzipan. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 061023

Bottle. Pours clear dark ruby with airy pinkish head. Intense, overpowering aroma of cherries, with notes of malt and yeast. Sweet flavour of cherries and sugar (I don’t quite know what the point is, since the wiśnia is the sour variety of the cherry, not the sweet one), with touches of malt and yeast. Bitterish aftertaste with cherry jam notes. Nothing really impressive, but I did not expect it to be, either.

Bottle, 4.5%. Distinct cherry aroma. Does not exactly smell authentic but I have had worse. Clear deep red colour. Small white head. The flavour has some cherry and a lot of sweetness. Slightly perfumy.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of caramel, apple sauce, dusty grains. Bitter with a metallic twist. Very faint tartness. Drinkable but not much fun.

Barwa złota, mętne. Piana drobnopęcherzykowa, niezbyt obfita. Typowy charakterystyczny aromat dla piw pszenicznych w tle banan, guma balonowa. W smaku lekko wyczuwalne banany, goździki.

Goudgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van honing en zuurtjes. Ondanks deze bijzondere smaak best aardig bier.
