Description
We want to make wine for Nordic cuisine.
Fruit wine - well worth noting!
Although we can grow Rondo, Solaris and other grapes in Denmark, it will be difficult for us to compete with Germany and France when the quality and economy must match.
This is not the case with fruit wine.
Because we grow some of the world's best fruit in Denmark. The fluctuating temperatures during the growing season and not least between day and night, because the fruit gives a high acid content.
And the acid is just the most interesting thing with a winemaker's glasses.
These are fruity wines with lots of acid and fine fruit in the nose and taste.
Ideal companions for Nordic cuisine.

Bottle, 375ml, 2010 vintage. A clear, golden cider, flat. Lots of apples on the nose, sweetness, indicating that it will be well suited for dessert. Some apple cores and a touch of something spicy as well. Rather sweet on the palate, yet with a fruity acidity making sure it’s not cloying in any way. Apples and sugar flavor. Lasting finish. A pleasant one indeed, but there’s something lacking. Or maybe it’s the acidity, don’t know. Well, wouldn’t mind drinking more of it. 120817

Bottle from Chas. E, year 2010. No head. Color is golden. Aroma is intense apples and quite sweet. Taste is initially sweet, then turns quickly to a nice biting sourness, that gives it a nice freshness. Warming finish that probably stems from the alcohol.
