50cl bottle from Vinmonpolet Storo, Oslo. Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Malty and moderate fruity aroma with notes of caramel and hints of spices and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet, fairly mild in flavour, but surprisingly pleasant and balanced. Light bitterness in the finish and high drinkability. Tasty stuff!

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Fellesinnkjøp med Rune. Delt med ham, djoeye og Skinnyviking på Nerstranda 7 Des 15. Aprikosfarget. Litt uklar. Lavt skum. God aroma av frukttyggegummi. Smaken rikt fruktig. Aprikos. Plommer. Lett tørr avslutnung.

500 ml bottle. Unclear orange body with a big, creamy off-white head. Aroma has citric fruit, peaches, yeast and mild funk. Flavor is medium sweet malt, some fruit, mild acidity and funk, there is obvious some kind of infection on its way here but so far it’s not all bad but definitively not intended.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet foresty, pine needles, leafs, moss, caramel malts, grass, hops, bark, minerals, hay, hints of citrus peel and toffee. Taste is kind of sour-ish foresty, pine needles, sour grass, moss, leafs, minerals, weeds, citrus peel, hops, bark. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Malts are pale, munich, crystal, amber, chocolate and roasted barley. Hops are Perle, Cascade and Citra. Slightly hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Nice aroma, Cascade and Citra dominate with their fruity / citrussy notes, on a background of lightly toasted malts, a hint of chocolate. The flavour is neither too sweet nor too roasty, with a nice fruitiness throughout, making the beer very drinkable. Sufficient hops, not too bitter.

Bottle. An unclear one, amber in color and with a dense, beige head on top. Lacing. The aroma is super-perfumed, like some toilet scent. Pine cones too. Seems there’s a touch of brett too, unintentional probably. Lightly funky flavor with a nice bitterness, but it’s way too perfumed, just like the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation, semi-dry. Long perfumed finish with a roasted touch. Could perhaps have a been a decent beer if it wasn’t off. 151124

Hytte 230715. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, hop, coffee. Flavour is roasted malt, hop, coffee, pine, orange, chocolate. Medium body. Ordinary beer.
