Bottled, from Gulating, Loddefjord. Hazy brown, huge, lively head. Piney yeasty nose with some licorice. Light bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Brettanomycaes dominates. Some coffee and pine. Mid bitter finish. Pretty sure the brett is unintended, but quite interesting as is.

KRS 070117. Red amber color with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, roasted malt. Flavor is fruit, roasted malt, dried fruits, alcohol, spices. Nice beer.

Fles op terras in Skien. Oranjegeel levendig bier met heel veel schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppg en licht fruitig met iets van grapefruit, citrus en zwarte thee.

Bottle 230517. Cloudy golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is hint of apple, citrus, oranges, peaches. Flavor is dry, apple, fruit, malt, oranges, yeast, hay, metallic, grass. Yeast in the Finish. Ordinary beer.

Bottle, courtesy of gunnfryd. An unclear orange colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head leaving some lacing. Sour malty aroma with a good fruityness. Freshly mown grass and some piney, peppery hints. Yeast. It’s full-bodied and rather heavily carbonated, lightly sweet, lightly bitter, with grass, pine cones and a generic citrusy fruityness. Bready, lightly yeast pale malts in the back, and a quite metallic finish. Sure, it’s a drinkable beer, but I bet it would be better if it was lightly filtrated. 170523

Lys brun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter honning, jord, blomster og noe karamell. Middels til lett. Sitrus, lett blomsterenga bitterhet, noe brent karamell. Middels lang.

Big offwhite head doesn’t last, but leaves lacing. Still yellow body with so many small particles it’s actually hazy. Earthy funky peas aroma (huh?) with mineraly horseblanket notes. Dry resiny horseblanket taste with earthy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dry resiny mineraly horseblanket aftertaste with herbal barnyard notes. The brett, which I guess was not intentionally added, has taken over and just dominates everything. It’s not a bad beer but the other elements are a bit weak and vapid. Bottled. Copper colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is spices, wood and some mild alcohol. Flavour is wooden, spicy, mild tartness and some slight sourness if it feels.
