12 oz bottle from Tavour. Nose is toffee and golden raisins. Clear rusty brown with a medium, lightly lacing, beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet with contrasting bitterness, fruit, and toffee.

12 oz. can from Tavour. Deep dark ruby color. Aroma is layered dark fruits with mild honey hints. Pretty rich and malty.
The flavor has it share of raisin, prune, molasses. The honey does give a different element to this Quad. Thankfully it is not overly sweet but it does that line of cloying. A bit of bitterness would take this to the next level. Still good.

Oh quads how I've loved you so, been too long, this one is especially red wine forward, warms up to honey and caramel back, rich and smooth.

I don't know what all the hullabaloo is about while it's a nice Imperial Stout it's nothing significant. And has thinner body a slightly boozy character and not a lot else Aroma is more complex than flavor i pick up some of the roasty fruity anise spicy herbal characteristics that are not his presence in the flavors.
