Country Tick #125, Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, coffee, light chocolate, hint of dark fruit. Taste is the same, bitter, dry, chocolate, dark chocolate, long dry bitter aftertaste. Very nice.

In a tall pils glass - almost clear palest straw, white head. Gentle lemony, pineapple jam, grassy aroma. Similar taste - lightly hoppy with a subtle bread and honey malt backbone. The extra-crisp body is light but nowhere near watery. Low soft herbal bitterness. Very clean and smooth. Essentially, it feels like a baby German pils.

Almost clear dark gold, frothy ivory head. Mild bready aroma, some spice, but really not much hops in the aroma. The taste is dry and crisp with only background rounding malts, slightly caramelized and an ever so slight fruity/jammy note. Strong crisp spicy herbal bitterness finishes the beer so nicely. A really good pils.

Almost clear amber, off-white head. Classic smoked bacon aroma in a light caramel background. Clean well fermented lightly caramelized malts, not that much smoke in the taste, light hoppy smoky bitterness. Drinks like a really well brewed clean lager with a smoky twist.

Cloudy amber, white head. Rich pastry aroma - gingerbread, marzipan stollen, citrus peel flavoured panettone. Some herbs for sure, but deeply behind the sugars. The taste has that sweetness too, but the sharp pungent herbal bitterness is even stronger. Very unique aroma / flavour profile. Interesting.

JAN-2020. Barch 3 (Nelson Sauvin?). Hazy bright yellow, pillowy white head. Smells of bright pale fruit - white grapefruit, pomelo, pineapple. Also quite doughy / yeasty, and has a slight sauerkraut / brine note too. The taste is gentle fruity malts, maybe some vague not very sweet or aromatic white grapes, with very little perceivable sweetness, soft pithy citrus bitterness. Crisp, well carbonated. Dry enough, but not too harsh - no sharpness or alcohol in the finish. Maybe a bit too thin. Very good, overall. 3,7/5.
SEP-2019. Batch 2 (Hallertau Blanc). Hazy pale straw, creamy white head. Smells of citrus pulp and pith, as well clear spicy herbal notes. The taste is really dry indeed, though still has some fruity notes. Sharp pithy, maybe slightly boozy, bitterness. Some doughy yeast is a bit of a fly in the ointment, still... A great dry IPA. 3,8/5.
MAY-2019. Batch 1. Hazy palest straw, white head. Bold pineapple, white grapefruit zest and pith and even some pulp. As it warms up, some fruit sugars pop out. Bread and dough. Does not smell very brut. The taste, on the other hand is pretty low on sugars, still has quite a bit of pale fruit notes - mostly pineapple / white grapefruit, firm zesty bitterness. Soft mouthfeel. Yeasty. 3,8/5.

Cloudy red-gold, like the smartphones, frothy white head. The aroma is your usual tart wheat beer and quite a bit of tart raspberries. It is mostly raspberry juice, but a) it is not sweet / syrupy, and b) there's light spicy and doughy notes. Passed. Taste: neutral crisp lively tart wheat beer, very light hard to distinguish fruity note, pickles / smelly yeast, strong spicy bitterness and... almost no raspberry. Despite the prickly carbonation, the body is struggling a bit to make a stand. So overall, big aroma, contrasting flavour, a slight off-flavour... Not bad, just slightly disappointing.
