Bottled at RBESG. Hazy amber creamy mid-sized head. Caramelly and almondy nose. Sweet and almost full bodied. A bit fruitywith evidet vanilla and toffee flavours, notes of pears. Low on hops, so the salty finish goes more towards chocolate. One of the better beers from Gourmetbryggeriet IMO.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thick off-white head. The aroma is with notes of smoke, bacon, malt, and caramel - nice. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, but then a quite powerful note of smoke and bacon comes along, leading to a bitter finish where the smoke note lingers for a long while.

Corked bottle. Black color; creamy beige head. It has some aroma of roasted malt and vanilla, quite nice. It has a medium body strength, an acceptable mix of flavors (dark caramel, roasted malt, coffee, liquorice), complemented by the vanilla touch. The bitterness is ordinary. The final is probably the least interesting factor in this beer, missing structure and complexity. I can’t say that it’s bad, but it seems another confused attempt to hit the world current trend.

Hazy orange color. There is a quite pleasant hop (Amarillo) aroma and flavor, but the body is quite weak, the flavor too, and besides a dry caramelly flavor with some cereals, there is not much more (malt, body, sweetness…). Easy approach for the masses.

Bottle @ thewolf-and-his-flock-of-sheep tasting session. Brewers reserve 2006, blablabla. Although the name is heavily overdone, the beer itself is quite good. Aroma of hop, coffee, whisky, oak, chocolat, malt. Aged taste, quite sweet, very alcoholic though.
