500mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber / burgundy with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of oak, light vinous notes, toffee, and bready malt. Flavour is loaded with dark dried fruits, plenty of oak, a hint of red wine, toffee, and bready malt. Nicely boozy, with a deep dark dried fruit character, nicely rounded by the oak. This is a beauty.

Flavour is rich and malty, with lots of woody roasted malt and red fruits, with a well-hopped backbone. Excellent hoppy robust porter.

On tap at Juxt, pours a clear vibrant golden yellow with a large white head. Aroma brings out a nice soft floral bouquet of hops, gentle grass, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and punchy, with assertive floral and grassy hops, gentle spicy hops, and crisp crackery malt. Super clean, well-hopped and with a nice crisp bitterness on the finish. Really good pils.

Sampled from the tap at Loyal Legion. Pours a near clear deep amber red with an off white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread and herb notes with rye spice and a hint of grass backing. Flavor has light bread and sweet grains with some light fruits backing.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound, left over from Fresh Hop Fest. Bright golden appearance, soft haze, plenty of head and lacing. Unique fresh hop here, really showcasing the hops well. Aroma is malt forward, bready and earthy grain, with a slight citrus tilt. Creamy body with notes of orange fruit. Almost sweet. Juicy, creamy body. Subtle lingering orange peel like bitterness. Grain goes from bready to nutty. The hops insist to balance it well, and are flavorful and impressionable. Far from a typical IPA in my opinion, but very much enjoyable. Solid fresh hop.
