Nice fizzy shortlasting head, nice light red-orangy color. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, apple cores, hay, berry skin, sweet raspberries, yellow apples, alcohol, hints of raspberry candy. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, sorrel, sour apples, apple cores, sour raspberries, grass, berry skin, flowers, hay. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.

375 ml slim clear bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, at an outrageous price. Batch 2016-02. ABV is 10.5%. Deep golden to orange colour, no carbonation. Lovely aroma of concentrated apple juice / apple cider. Extremely sweet and nice concentrated flavour of Norwegian dessert apple varieties, some acidity, hints of oak and sulphites.

Keg @ Cafe Sara, Oslo. Pours clear yellow, no real head. Aroma is strong pure apple fruit. Taste continues with a luscious fruity character, highly juicy with some soft fleshy moments. Yet another great cider from the Hardanger region. Exceptional.

Fra fat på årets siste Mi2, Cardinal des-16: klar, lys strågul med kort skum. Deilig, rund og saftig aroma og smak av spise-epler fra Hardanger, akkurat passe søt. Hint av eik/vanilje? En meget lettdrikkelig og elegant cider.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 19.12.16. Clear, pale yellow. Small, white head. Fine aroma and taste of apples from old Norwegian apple trees. Dry. Dangerously quaffable.
