Cloudy dark yellow color with a fine white head. Good intensity in the aroma. Decent body for an 4,2% beer. Ok balance between sweetness and acidity. Sour, salty and lactic fruity flavor. But….where did all the blackcurrant go? Strange blackcurrant color also he he. Decent nice thirst quencher.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Batch 101. Drukket på Lillehøgda påsken -16. Mørk gyldengulbrun. Lavt skum. God ferskenaroma. Smaken lett syrlig fersken & plommer. Tørr avslutning.

Biggish white head. Hazy amber body with visible particles. Tropical fruit and resin aroma with freshly cut wood notes. Dryish pineapple and oranges taste with resin and grapefruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry resiny wooden aftertaste with grapefruit notes. Nice, but perhaps a bit grapefruity and bitter. (0.5l bottle from wine monopoly, Storo. Batch #101.)

Draught at Cafe Sara. Oily pour revealing a jet black body. Shiny naked surface, dotted spots on the glass. Smell of coffee, dark chocolate and berries. Rich and well blended taste profile containing moments of cocoa, coffee beans and black currant promoting a dark, dry bittersweet finish. Warming down the throat without to much prominent alcohol. A very nice drink before dinner being served (in friendly company with Cunningham, Eirik and Maja 21.03.2016).

500ml bottle, 7.5 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. A remaining two-finger, creamy, tan-coloured head over a jet black body. Poor lacing. Slightly roasted nose, hints of cocoa. Taste of cocoa, liquorice and berries before the spiced, chili, part takes over. Pleasing, without being great in any way (hotel room, Oslo 14.03.2016).

Big beige lasting head. Opaque black body. Roasty earthy bready aroma with chocolatey toast notes. Sweetish roasty earthy chocolatey taste with mineraly notes. Full-bodied. Mild, soft, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish earthy chocolatey aftertaste with hot roasty fruity notes. Hot, lingering burning finish. Nice, but not great. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly, Storo. Think it says batch #103.)

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet, Kirkenes). Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is mild smoke, liquorice, mild leather, some ripe fruits and chocolate. Flavour is smoked, leathery, some liquorice, yeast and mild ashy notes toward the finish. Wellbalanced

50cl bottle @ Vaasa sessions. Near black in color with a thin brown head. Strong roastedness, rye and spicy notes. Molasses and smoky notes. Flavor has malt, roastedness, ash. Long roasty finish.
