Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 01.02.16. Cloudy straw colour. Small, off-white head, diminishing to nothing. Aroma of dust, cellar, mint, tropical fruits and mint. Similar taste, with canned fruits, cocktail berries and banana.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, yeast, flowers, citrus peel, rubber, dried fruits, weeds, hay, grass, light malts. Taste is slightly dry floral, weeds, yeast, flowers, paper, grass, minerals, hay, light malts, citrus peel, dried fruits. Medium bitterness, slightly dry yeasty mouthfeel. Boring.

Shared 750 ml bottle at local tasting, batch 042. 4.5% ABV. Hazy amber colour, huge off-white head, overcarbonated. Aroma of malts and rotting leaves, spicy hints. Dry flavour, slightly harsh, some resinous hops. Not really my cup of tea.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Also available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Black colour, tan head. Moderate aroma, notes of roast malts, dust, cold coffee, a hint of chocolate / cocoa. Dry roasty flavour, cold coffee, a little fruit (raspberries), dust, cocoa. A little chili in the aftertaste, leaves a nice warming throatfeel.

Den nest siste på kveldens rbhd-program ombord på Fridtjofen jan-16: brunsvart med fint lysebrunt skum som varer. Aromaen er god, men ikke overveldende som en del andre imperial stouts. Kaffe, støv, chili. Bringebærene og chilien kommer bedre frem i smaken. Slank, men absolutt med "a lingering afterburn".

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 26.01.16. Ebony. Dense pale brown head and lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Complex taste, also with berries. Medium bitterness, chili and berries lingering on in aftertaste.

Flaske (batch 042) ombord på Fridtjofen, rbhd-kveld jan-16: højt skum, her bruser det voldsomt i glassene! Men skummet smaker godt, så vi får smøre oss med litt tålmodighet. Malt, karamell, ristet brød, litt tørkede frukter. Overkarbonert. Halvtørr og ufrisk avslutning.

Shared bottle at RB/HB on board Fridtjofen 26.01.16. Dark orange amber. Foamy and huge beige head. Aroma of dark malt, ripe plums and dark caramel. Taste of dark malt and harsh caramel. And old strawberry jam. Dry and overcarbonated.
